passing notes

7:31 PM 7/10/07 · I have, at numerous points in my life, passed notes with pretty girls. Oddly I never actually did this in school but I'm honestly not sure when the first time was. Definitely did it with a few dancers at BaGG, most significantly two. The first being Katleiah Veridian, who surprised me twice with amazing kisses, and the other was
Cyne...and while we've been friends for years since that first note, there was initially a lil' bit o' friction because of it.

Randomly on impulse, at a TREX gathering, I passed a note to
Erika and she was so blown away by it she not only has it to this day but she had it framed.

I've a way with words now and again.

Today's was not such an example but it did illcit a smile.

Spotted her at the bus stop and she was a peach, I'll give her that. On the bus she sat right across from me, I usually sit sideways to the driven direction, and I couldn't help but overhear her conversation; she was on her cell. I was already quite taken but that chat she was having gave up so much more about her. Could definitely tell that with different circumstance I could really like her.

Don't you say it!

Anyway, on sudden impulse I started looking through my bag for a pen (had blue) and something to write on (only had a flyer for some anime convention) and a quick skim through the chaos that is my brain on any given day. Went for very simple, exceptionally simple, straight and to the point. What I wrote was: you are adorable & you make me smile. have a nice day. What with one of my trademark smilies, the Mark of the Doppleganger, I filled the entire back with just that.

No phone number or email address.

The words were sufficient.

Had intended to give it to her as I got off the bus but it happened she was getting off at the stop before me. Got a raised eyebrow from the proferred note but she took it and proceeded on her way. Caught her reading it with a grin as the bus pulled away.

Truthfully, I might not've handed it to her were it not for the little fact she smiled at me. The chat she was having with whoever was on the other end was along the lines of a haircut she had just gotten. She had requested specifically to get something that made her look less straight. That got my attention and I looked right at her to size up her hairdo. She noticed and smiled back at me.

C'est la vie!
