Saturnine times brought by your subversion...

This weekend has been interesting.
Friday after school me and Ivan hung out with Sterling and Fredrick. We went to the New Italian Oven and ate a bunch of food. Then I met up with Wes at Hillsboro. We jammed for a while cos we couldn't find anyone to hang out with. Finally we met up with Jean and Tori at Cafe Coco, one of the few places I throughly hate. Along with them was and extremely drunk Addie, who walked off outside and puked, which me and Wes found hilarious as we heard the splattering of the vomit on to the pavement and bushes. We had to leave to take Jean home cos she had to take the SAT in the morn. So us 4 went up to love circle to look upon the city for a few minutes. We dropped Jean off and went back to Coco cos we had nothing else to do. While there me and Wes were making fun of Tori for wearing flip flops, with her trying to make an argument that she was not trendy, when the trediest person besides Zerith came up and said for us to "stop making fun of her, she looks quite trendy". We proceded to burst out into laughter. After a while Tori took us to Wes's and we jammed and I passed out on his couch.
Saturday we jammed and ate pancakes and watched the Crossroads Guitar Festival DVD, which further proved John McLaughlin is god. After a while we went and jammed with Wes's friend Nick. We hung out and stuff for a while. This kid Max from my school came and jammed with us, which was pretty cool. Some shit happened and I hung around at this kid Matt's house for about an hour. Then I called up Jean and found out Ivan was looking for me cos we were playing a show. The Muse need any band at all to play, so Jonas called and said we'd be there, and we were. It was with a bunch of indie bands, so it was quite the mismatch. We were forced to play last, so we had no crowd, save for Ivan's parents for a little bit. So basically it was a stage practice with a free light show. It was good though. On one of our songs just for fun I did a high pitched scream remenisent of black metal, which we all agredd was the best thing in our set. The recordings arent bad at all, except my guitar is low in the mix, but it was the whole show, cos Im dumb and didnt fix it. But it was fun, so thats what matters. We're booked for an amazing show in february with Moral Decay, Stiff Resistance, and American Distress, which features members of Choking Victim and InDK. Hopefully we'll start playing more.

Mr. Bungle are amazing. They NEED to get back together. I got a bootlegged concert of theirs and it is amazing. I wish I had the chance to see them.

4th show ever
