It turns out
Doing reading is EVEN MORE BORING in Spanish and in subjects you're not interested in! I am pretty sure 20 pages on the historical and sociological perspectives of Max Weber (and that's 20 pages in a 90 page reading, by the way) would be boring in English, but it is way worse and slower in Spanish. On the plus side I got to make dinner tonight (fried potatoes with eggs and tomato) and talked to my host mom for like an hour, which was awesome and fun in part because it was in Spanish.
I am going crazy with not baking. My host mom doesn't have an oven -- the kitchen contains a stovetop, a toaster oven, and a microwave. What can I bake in this environment? Seriously, does anyone have any ideas?
