Call of Duty and X-3 and Transformers and Harry Potter

Just beat Call of Duty. Not 2. Just regular ole CoD. 'Twas fun. Why did nobody tell me it included a Russian scenario that's stolen straight out of Enemy at the Gates? I would have played it months/years ago had I known.

Harry Knowles has a review up of X-3 that goes into the major problems with the film. Knowles isn't always right, but he very much is in this case. And that's the last time I'll mention X-3. On to Superman.

EDIT: Avi Arad has left Marvel. Avi was the "movie guy" and was responsible for overseeing all of their movies. His loss will be felt, but fortunately he's forming his own independent production company, and will be producing Spiderman 3 (and any other future Spiderman movies), Ironman, and the Hulk sequel. So phew.

EDIT 2: Ain't it Cool also has some descriptions and pictures up of Transformers from the upcoming movie. Just vehicle modes, but looking good so far. There's some spoilers, so reader beware.

And to round out the post and make it reach maximum geekiness, in Harry Potter news the publisher says Book 7 is expected in 2007, but nothing is guaranteed. Plus, Helena Bonham Carter is set to play Bellatrix Lestrange in movie 5, after Helen McCrory pulled out because of pregnancy. Rockin'.
