After
leaving the bar,
Evil Storvik did not return to
the suite which the group of Vulcans had rented on
Starbase 668. Rather, he walked alone to the Ankh, the runabout upon which they
had arrived at the station (after living in it for over six years in hiding). Instinct had compelled "Evil" Storvik to seek solitude for meditation … and silence in case he woke up hungover thereafter.
The Vulcan was uncertain as to why he had participated in the
fracas at So Long and Thanks for All the Fish. It seemed … logical … at the time; but in hindsight, he was forced to conclude that it was a needless and dangerous risk for little or no gain. Clearly, something was amiss with his mental processes.

Certainly, it was difficult for even Vulcans to spend such an extended period of time in such close proximity, even without the … unusual "interpersonal relationships" which existed between the four of them.
Storvik and T'Vit were married, yet
T'Sorvik was the child of Storvik and "Evil" Storvik (through no choice of their own; their genders and biological pon farr cycles had been
altered by
Not So Nice Khan). Storvik and "Evil" Storvik, as different versions of the same person, had grown to trust each other somewhat after being force to cooperate in their mutual survival against the Orion Syndicate and the
ISS Murgatroid, but sometimes the conflict between their differences outweighed their similarities. Still, for about seven years there had been no-
And then he realized. Seven years.
What
Evil Storvik was feeling was the approach, albeit off-schedule (Khan's drugs and the subsequent pregnancy must have altered his cycles somewhat), of pon farr. Perhaps his instinct to protect
Diziara was based, in part, upon what she was, or wasn't,
wearing. In any event, he had not fully lost control yet - but he would have to stay here, alone, while he decided what he could do about it…
