All of that sucks. Unfortunately Connor's old enough that he's going to be nothing but one expense after another.

Yeah, $1000 on him in less than 30 days is kind of rough.

Might be time to look for a new used car. Sept is when they roll out the 2018s toyoto is already offering zero percent interest for like 2 years or something.

Me too. I'm also looking at a small SUV because of this hip. I can get a 2-3 year old one with under 50K miles for the same price as a new Civic (the only problem is 1 year warrenty vs 3--4 year)

You might be able to ask for an extended warranty.

not on these unfortunately. It's either as is with no warrenty or the one year. I asked.
