I have been LOVING the gloomy weather in the mornings.
Nothing much is new in the world of me, except that we've solidified our apartment in Building 8.
I like the number 8. I need to get the exact address since our place is on a 9 acre property so I can finally send out the "We're Moving" cards to our family. I also need to buy stamps.
I've started a spreadsheet in Excel that I am going to print and make copies of for those helping us move, so they know what goes where and what is going to the dump.
I've also made a list of things that need replacing, which makes me happy, but sad because it's running close to $2K... um, yeah, no. I will have to re-evaluate what we NEED and what we WANT. Most of the things of course are things I want- like new bed sheets, towels, decor etc. I know I can do without a lot of those things.
A big list comes with pet stuff. Now that I am bringing Shadow home he needs new stuff. New pet bed, new doggie house for the backyard, new feeding bowls and his own vitamins/medicines so that the dogs at the house can keep what is already there. New food; now that he's with me, this will be high on the list of quality foods. He will also need a sweater for the winter since he's old and he'll now be going on regular walks with me and the husband. Mozart needs one of those climbing things for when he wants to get away from the dog or us for that matter. LOL Bunny needs a new potty pan and new feeding bowls too. James mentioned a fish tank. I don't know if I want to add another pet chore and supplies. Seeing as I am allergic to mold, still water scares me. I would be open to maybe a bird, but I also don't want to spread myself thin with pet stuff. Forbid one of them gets sick and needs to go to the vet.
I finally brought boxes home to start packing. I am going to put away a majority of clothes, shoes, blankets, bed sheets, towels, movies, cd's, vinyls, electronics we're not using, books and things in the kitchen I don't see myself using in the next 3 weeks. I already went and got markers and tape. I love the 99¢ store for this reason.
After we move, I'm going to go get a massage. Seriously. Preferably before going to NY so I can feel rejuvenated.
I can't believe my birthday is in a few days. Turning 27 doesn't feel any different.
I jumped back into spinning classes at the gym yesterday. Oh lordy was I sore this morning.
I miss working out a lot, so much so I even dream of it. I hope once work is caught up and we don't have a million deadlines, I'll be on a normal work schedule and fit the gym in :)
Also, I have to get back on the couch to 5k. I would really like to do a Breast Cancer 5K marathon this October.
Back to work!
