My chest is killing me.
I cannot wait until they tell me when I can get my sinuses in check.
I spent Friday morning throwing up cough medicine and thinking I was going to pass out.

Meanwhile, I have been trying to do my part. I took a shower with my mini blinds this morning. Yes, that is not a typo, I had James help me unhinge the mini blinds from our bedroom and drag them in the tub. Since they are too wide to be laid down and soaked, I had to get in there, turn on the shower head and wipe them down. Fun. Well, not really. I let them dry for the rest of the day. Meanwhile we dusted the bedroom, flipped the mattress, changed the sheets and I just bought an air purifier. What struck my craziness? That my mother called and as soon as I answered my phone my mom said "Ay mija (like 'oh honey') *sigh* you sound so sick" and she said she was really concerned for me. I've always been a sick child, so I knew I would be a sick adult, no surprise there. My mother hates cats, so I shouldn't take what she says so literally. She thinks it's Mozart who is making me sick. I'd like to think not because I would rather take some pill, shot or whatever than to get rid of my cat. Plus, I have a long history of pets, and if animals were the case, I'd rather be dead. What is a life without a furry companion? Boring I say.

I slept with Shadow for most of my teenage life and I never got REALLY sick. We've had Juno bunny for over 2 years now. I got Mozart in September of last year, so really, if I were to be severely allergic to him, it would've happened way back when. But maybe yes, maybe Mozart, and Juno and James and I in a small apartment with old carpeting may be the issue. I know we're outgrowing this apartment and we're in the process of saving to find another place.

I have toyed with the idea of buying a condo, but at the same time, I'm not sure I want to buy in California EVER. It is ridiculously expensive and don't even get me started on state taxes. I can't seem to find a decent 2br in Orange County for under $180K, even when something amazing under that comes up, it is a short sale and by the time I muster up the courage to call and schedule an appointment, it is in the closing stage. FML. Ultimately, I would LOVE to move out of CA but I don't see that happening in the next 5 years. So who knows.

Have I said how much I wish it was May already? I can't wait for Vegas.
Though it sucks since I missed work on Friday and I only have a day and a half of Paid Time Off.
I also have the ENT Specialist appointment tomorrow.
The only exciting thing I did was visit Alfred Angelo with the beautiful bride to be Nancy.

She tried on several dresses, the first which was a mermaid style dress that was off the wall gorgeous on her. She tried on one another that was ok, but not big enough, she couldn't express just how big she wanted her dress to be since i think they thought she was joking. They knew she wasn't when she brought her own pedi-coat/hoop and ready for a huge ballroom gown. Then they brought this one out:

This picture does no justice. Nancy looked STUNNING in it. Radiant. Beautiful! The selling point? Detachable train! YES! It is absolutely brilliant. I can't wait to see her in it.

I tried on several bridesmaid dresses, but this one was the winner:

It's darker in person and a lot more rich. I'll be wearing the darkest color being the MOH and the girls will wear shades of reddish purple like berry, wine and merlot.

I was fitted in a 10 which I think is amazing considering I gained some winter weight and haven't dropped it yet, but the dress is cut to fool the eye and it's a corset back, so it can be adjusted. I want to think that by then, I'll comfortably fit in it and not feel like I am about to die due to lack of oxygen and corset straps.

Anyway, I'm very excited to start getting better.
Off to take more meds.
