I still can't believe that 2009 is coming to an end.
This year proved to be a good one for me; many beautiful things came my way.
I'll try to jot down by the end of New Years Eve everything I accomplished, if I met any goals and try to set new ones. Life is a little less hectic right now and I want to enjoy it while I can.
Plans for NYE is a nice dinner and lots of alcohol - oh and fireworks :)
We went to see Sherlock Holmes yesterday and although it was a good movie, it wasn't the Sherlock Holmes or even Dr. Watson. The characters were a bit skewed, but it was still enjoyable. It makes me want to pick up one of the Sherlock books we have at home; there's a thought.
I need to finish up cleaning the living room and getting rid of old books. I am going to either give them to the old guy at the bookstore or give them to goodwill. I am out of space in my bookshelf. I am also thinking of investing in a bigger bookshelf... but that could be dangerous. Perhaps once we get the first half of our payment from the website we're working on, we can invest in a new bookshelf. That would be cool, and possibly more books, depending on what we give away.
I have all the vitamins I will be needing for the cleanse. I also ordered more hemp protein powder since apparently what I have been using is expired. Oops. I also found my old gym card, so meanwhile I can use that one until I order a replacement with my new name. :D
My SS card arrived in the mail today, so I might go try to fight the DMV battle earlier than my appointment. I've already ordered checks in my new name and have changed it on a few accounts. I need to remember to do that to other accounts as well. I REALLY need to start practicing signing my new name. I have only needed to do it once or twice and it still feels foreign. I do however LOVE my new last name.
Ok, off to get Bratwurst for the Husband from the butcher and then I need to finish up some healthy food shopping. Horay!
It's nice and cold outside and this week promises mid to high 60's - I hope so.
