On A Roll

After figuring out gift money, opening up a CD account and restoring a tiny portion of my savings, we decided it was time to give ourselves a much deserved (and highly logical-teehee) Christmas gift. We got something we BOTH wanted. A PS3. It was the logical thing to do. My DVD player that I've had since I was still living with my parents finally died a few months ago. I had conformed to watching movies on my computer or the MacBook. What better upgrade than a Blu Ray? Also, James XBOX died earlier this year and the Wii has lost it's appeal. Since the price went down on the PS3, it only made sense to get that instead since it automatically comes with a Blu Ray player. My idea of a His & Hers? His remote is black and mine is red. :) Then we movie bargain shopped. We got Star Trek, Boondock Saints, Inglorious Basterds (pre-order) and Interview with the Vampire on Blu Ray for half of what they cost. I NEVER pay full price for anything. Ever. I will never be the kind of woman that is proud of high priced shit, I will be the one that tells you how much she SAVED. Grocery shopping trip Friday? Saved $20 - I am also a coupon lady and super proud of it. I am also waiting for a new computer desk, a printer (all in one!) and an LCD monitor for my computer! Nancy's boyfriend has a used one that I am going to take off his hands. OH, and James got new glasses that he's anxiously awaiting for to arrive.

Next on my list is figuring out Christmas gifts. This year, the list is a bit longer since I am adding my in laws and sister in law. I am going to end up sending them a big box soon.

I am suppose to be getting the rest of my wedding pictures sometime mid next week. As soon as they come in, I am going to print a ton of pictures! Mom-in-law has already made it clear that she and James' grandma require 8X10 pictures. I underestimated her and I had bought her a 4X6 pearl edged frame for a picture. LOL Oh well. I also had to promise her to get a tree for all the ornaments she's sending me. Since the apartment isn't big and we've already reached our comfortable capacity, we got a small one:

Yes, it is sitting on top of the PS3 box! LOL I thought it was cute and it goes with my love of space saving options. Also, Mozart doesn't seem to care for it. Double horay!

Arthur is coming over Monday for a special delivery and I am guessing they are peanut butter bars :D This means an exchange of food. Hmmmm... time to think of a meal idea. Maybe burgers... we'll see.

My heartburn is intense, going to go find a remedy and steal kisses from the cat and the husband.
