Life has been moving right along with not much wiggle room to breathe.
I lie a little because the other night I fell asleep at 7:30pm and didn't get up until 6:25am the next morning.

I went to San Diego this past weekend to help my friend Jen pack up her apartment as she makes her way back East to be with her parents. Her husband, and my favorite beer pong partner Ryan, is in the Navy and now on terrorist grounds. He has a webcam on his laptop so he called while we were cleaning and I got to see him for 5 seconds. It's got to be comforting to Jen to be able to see her husband every day if at least for 15 minutes and hear his voice as well. I can't imagine what the next 6 months are going to feel like for her. The drive to San Diego was intense- massive rain and weird cloud/sun patches. It made driving really difficult because at one point, the freeway was WHITE from the sun beaming on the wet asphalt as it poured. Thank you me for deciding to get new tires the day before.

Sunday we went to Disneyland with Nancy and Chris. Who loves free? We do! It was a blast! I had never seen the castle lit up with the "Snow" lights. It was awesome! Nancy and I joked about James and Chris starting a bromance. At one point, they kept walking as we stood back to see if they'd notice we were gone. James is really good at making sure I am by his side, so he was quick to notice I wasn't around. They even left us talking by the Tom Sawyer Island as Nancy and I sat on the floor to save a spot for the Fantasmic show and they took off to get on Pirates of the Caribbean. We had a fantastic time indeed! I love that James gets along with Chris! We are spending New Years together after all :D

James and I went to his Air Force appointment. They had him take a practice test before they even asked us any questions. They took a great liking to him when they scored his test and he aced it. Didn't even miss one. They assured him he was going to have NO problems with the real test and are confident he'll place really high. This is an advantage as he gets to pick what areas he's interested in and he'll probably have first choice if it's available. I got to talk to an officer about what it's like as a wife. They weren't shy to ask about kids, if I was pregnant or planned to be pregnant really soon. I laughed and said no, not at least for another year and a half to two years. Maybe. I'm in no rush. They wanted to know how I felt about moving to different areas of the world. I told them I was in for the ride. They asked about my job and career and thought it was awesome that I have already thought about working from home as an independent artist. My biggest concern was pets. I told them we had pets we couldn't imagine our lives without and that I'd go crazy if I didn't have an animal companion. They assured us that wouldn't be a problem, unless of course he had to go to Japan where they make you quarantine your pet for up to 6 months! >.< That's insane! :( I really hope we are never put in that situation. They also said Korea doesn't allow military spouses. Bah-humbug. Lame. It's all just precautions, we don't know where we'll end up. The guy who interviewed James has never left the states. He's been in Delaware and California for the 7 years of his enlistment, the other solider I talked to has been all over the U.S, Korea, China, Hawaii and is currently in Germany. I wouldn't mind Germany at all! He says he's about 3 hours away from Paris! :D And it's apparently easy to get anywhere from there.

I just hope all goes well for James - I am with him regardless.

Mom in law is sending me all his Christmas ornaments so now I must get a Christmas tree.
She also hinted that her tree will now be a bit empty with all of James' ornaments gone and that when she left home, she sent one every year to her mother. This means she wants me to send her an ornament. LOL I already ordered personalized 'First Christmas' Ornaments and got one for her. I need to get on the horn about putting a Christmas list together and taking a weekend to get it all done.

James and I, with money given to us as a Wedding gift, we're saving half and the rest we're using as 'Fun Money' to get a PS3. My delicious tv deserves to project high quality images and I miss video games like woah.

Work has been driving me BONKERS! I don't know what they'd do if I decided I no longer wanted to come to work. I was late a few days ago and when I got here, it was mad chaos. I'm waiting for next week to talk to the owner. This should be interesting. At least we're having a bomb ass lunch today.

OH Mozart is nuts and plays in the tub while I'm showering.
I also need to go pick up my cap and gown.
OH and Vegas sucks at ordering Official Marriage Certificates... they are lazy and they don't realize I want to change my name soon.
