I haven't seen this movie because I was poor for a while and didn't get to watch a lot of movies or remember to rent them when they came out. LOL

We rented it last night and it will be watched tonight after dinner is on the table.

I had heard this song before, and I fell in love with just the first line because that's where my dad is from, Mexicalli, MX. ;) I do hate that this video cuts off early. Lame.

In the Tarantino mood, we went and saw 'Inglorious Basterds' - pure genius. LOVED IT. It was indeed a bit on the violent side (duh) and as the rest of the girls squirmed in their seats at the theater, I was mesmerized. Brad Pitt did a fantastic job, as usual. His character is hilarious and the dialogue/story line is amazing. Most of the movie is in subtitles - the characters speak in German and French mostly. Thankfully I was not lost (thank you french lessons) so I didn't need to read a ton of the subtitles, which allowed me to see the film in its entirety comfortably.

I made a delicious meal of slow cooked cubed beef marinated in Cabernet Sauvignon, crushed Garlic and Salt & Pepper for 15 hours prior to cooking. When it was done, it looked purple due to the wine but after being sprinkled with a bit of parsley and roasted red potatoes.... delicious!

Didn't do much this weekend except enjoy being home and hanging out with the husband to be. We are sharpening our dancing shoes and by the time we have our first dance, I'm sure we're going to be pros at the waltz! LOL It's really cute actually.

Work has been kinda crazy because my boss leaves for vacation and she wants everything done today. Yeah, ok.

Also, I sold another book on half.com. Thank you internet bidding/selling for putting money in my account.

books, tarantino, inglorious basterds, cooking
