This weekend didn't go as planned but it was fantastic.
James and I watched 'WATCHMEN' on Friday night. BEST.ACTION.SUPERHERO.MOVIE.EVER. Seriously, amazing. I am so glad we went to see it! We hopped over to Downtown Disney and it always reminds me of our first date and there's always live music. Saturday I woke up later than I wanted. I was pinned to the bed at 8:35am which made it hard to get up and do the spinning class. When my very sleepy boyfriend finally let his grasp go on me I jumped up to go pee and told him I wasn't going to go to my Cycling class and he quickly followed it with "So what are you doing up? Come back to bed!" It was the cutest thing ever. I turned on Saturday morning cartoons as I climbed back into bed and he stuck his cold nose and kissed the back of my neck, wrapped his arms around my waist and fell back to sleep. It was probably a few seconds later that I fell asleep too. I still hit the gym later, tried to shop for a dress for the art show that never happened due to INSANE traffic. We ended up getting takeout and watching tv instead which was fine by me. Sunday was no hiking - stupid spring forward. We didn't get up til LATE noon. Lame. My day flew by.
I did however go try out a new food market. Fresh And Easy. I had heard of it, seen it, but didn't know what it was all about. It was freakin' heaven. I was telling James about it on our afternoon walk and he said it was funny to see me extremely excited about fresh natural food. He compared it to a kids first disney trip. I should've been a chef. It really was that fantastic. Some stuff is pretty expensive, but some are really cheap. I got two NY steaks for $4. I also got 4 HUGE chicken breasts for $5. They also had a Thai Lager and I like to surprise James with new stuff or things he's never tried, and I knew he's never had this beer before. Its our thing when we go to the store, to find a new beer. I bought so many amazing stuff and I can't wait til I need something so I'm forced to go back! LOL Also, if I was a dude living alone, I'd totally shop here weekly. They make pre-packaged single serve dinners/lunches for $4. They also sell 'food kits' in the raw meat area of trays with lets say steak fajitas, the bell peppers & onions packaged in along with the seasonings needed. All included, just toss it all in a wok. Its awesome. Next on the list is to purchase their wheat pizza dough and make a pizza. :D I am far too excited about organic, natural, fresh, healthy food.
Last night i had a dream about a snake. I hardly dream of snakes.
Well, this snake gave off a really 'dangerous' feel - like it wanted to intimidate me, it wanted to seem superior to me, it wanted to pretend to be more powerful. It sunk its teeth into my foot. It was trying to fight me, it tugged at me and I saw its body trying so hard to bring me down. I grabbed it by the top of its head, pinned it to the floor, crushed it with my fist til I heard its jaw crack, grabbed a knife and stabbed it on the top of its head till blood filled the area around me. Snakes usually represent someone around me trying to be sneaky. Someone trying to be 'poisonous' or interfere in my life. To 'wiggle' themselves in or try to 'strike' me down.... and I love it when even in my dreams, they fail; I overcome and defeat it. :D Take that bitches!
I tried Almond milk for the first time today. Its really.... grainy? I dunno, but its pretty low cal. I also tried chocolate soymilk and decided I am a vanilla fan indeed.
Ms. Massey's b-day is today.
Jessen is on the 11th and my mother's b-day is on the 12th.
Next weekend will be busy.
Finals week is this week.
Big paper due Wednesday and HUGE quiz as well. LAME.
Also, there is a lot of love and lovin' at home ;) Which of course, I love. It's awesome to know James has lived here (give or take 2-3 months) for a year now.
OH and boss is out this week! WOOT! AND There's a bootcamp style class in San Clemente that I might try! :D
