I have not been able to stop listening to those ALL this morning.
I'm surprised I have not gotten sick *knocks on wood* from this weather yet. Saturday, Nancy, Liz and I went to Disneyland. It was raining, pouring at times but we had such a great time! By the end of the night, I got 'the keys to the castle' which is really a pin with a silver key on it. I found 2 wallets that day; I didn't turn both in at the same place obviously lol, but I wonder if they would think I was pick pocketing people. I was going to go to the Post Office and have them mail them out, but I figured Disney probably had a better chance at making sure it got to where it needed to be.
Yesterday was spent being lazy for the most part; that and cooking. I think I missed my true calling.
I made a spanish chicken soup with black beans and veggies... dearest taste buds, thank you for the explosion that took place in my mouth! It was amazing. I added brown rice instead of white rice too ;)
For dinner I made baked chicken split breasts with my seasoning of garlic-onion salt, italian seasoning and parmesan cheese, buttery mash potatoes and fluffy cornbread. :) I am going to have my soup for breakfast and the left over chicken for lunch. I love leftovers.
Watched a lot of tv yesterday, including the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie with James rubbing my feet. We came to a conclusion that the movie was way emo and really depressing lol Then I watched a lot of Forensic Files and Man Vs. Wild.
I had terrible nightmares last night and I was up for almost an hour at 4am crying. It was about Shadow. I've been dreaming him more frequently and I'm starting to think its a sign - THE sign, and mostly because in this dream, he was waiting for me. I've had that dog in my life for almost 14 years and I am starting to think I am being selfish; that I need to let him go. I think it might be time.
I am not sure if James will have anything up his sleeve for V-Day, but the weekend following, I have planned a trip to San Diego and I hope it doesn't rain- mostly because I want to go to Balboa park. :)
My boss is out of town til Wednesday; must enjoy the quietness.
My orthopedic appointment is today. Blah.
I am going to try to get home at a decent hour from South Orange County, but I really doubt it. I am suppose to meet some classmates for some beer at the brewery across the street from school. I do not like the fact that I may have to purchase dinner from there. Time to look up a healthy selection by visiting their menu section online. Here's to hoping they have something decent.
Also, I found out my boyfriend Chris Brown is a wife beater. Boo.
