(no subject)
Today I had to go to the allergist.... twas the worst time i've had at the doctor's office in a long time. Here, i'll describe it in detail:
First when i came in they talked to me about what they'd be doing: testing me out to find out what i'm exactly allergic to and such.
Then they told me to take everything from the waist up off so my back was bare.
Next while i was lying down they brought in 5 different trays with 8 or so allergins in each one. (if you've ever taken chemistry and seen those little trays with the kind of dips in them.... they looked like watercolor trays...) well anyways on the bottom of these trays were apparently little needles correspoding to each allergin. Well all 5 of the trays got stabbed into my back... 5*8 is 40 stab wounds in my back. Well, needless to say, since they were things i'd be allergic to, my back started to swell up around the things that gave a reaction. Basically my whole back swelled up and itched like crazy, but unfortunately i couldn't touch it. For thiry minutes i lay there on my stomach squirming from the itchyness. At least Ryan came in abut half way so i held his hand. :D.
After that, for each allergin that didn't react on my back i got the same allergin stabbed into my arm!!! to 22 shots in each arm!!!! Then those started to itch and i was crying because i was hurting from all those shots!
I am in soooo much pain. There are little rows of red dots all along my arms and i am so sore! Turns out i'm allergic to everything... go figure!
Well that was an experience that will make me cringe at every flasback! I'm glad i don't have to do it again though! I think i'll take a picture of one of my arms for all youz guyz at home!
