Regina Mills got caught into a rain storm, the rain was pouring, lightning flashing around, thunder roaring it's head off, all in the clouds above. Picking up her umbrella, she couldn't get it to open, cursing the sky above, "What the hell?!" with a roll of her eyes, she began walking down the street to her car. The one time she had to park on the other side of the street. Cursing herself all the way to the car, she got into her car, realizing she forgot her keys immediately. "You've got to be kidding me." Looking towards the building, Regina made a pout. I have to walk back there? She said to herself.
Putting head on the steering wheel, she just let herself laugh. She couldn't believe how bad her luck was turning out tonight. The rain was pounding over the car, shaking her head, she raised up and leaned back into her seat. Licking her lips, she decided that she wasn't going to stay in there tonight. Waiting for the storm to ease up a touch, she braced herself for the rain, and got out of the car, running towards the building, what she didn't count was the body that hers seemed to crash into, sending both of them, crashing down on the ground with her landing on top.
Looking up to see who it was, with the rain all over his face, it was none other than Prince Charming, David Nolan. Forgetting that she was still literally on top of him, she laughed out loud and that caused him to look at her. David smiled sweetly at her, "I'm sorry for running into you like that." Regina smiled at him, "My fault too. I wasn't watching where I was going" Their low words compared to the loud sounds of the rain, just made everything seem perfect in a way. And she couldn't believe she was even thinking that.
This moment was different for her, she wasn't thinking of revenge, and she wasn't thinking of anyone else, She was just thinking of him. David smiled at her, and moved his hand up to the back of her wet hair, and pulled her head down to his and kissed her rain soaked lips with his. Forgetting the rain, and their surroundings, the two shared a soft, sweet kiss in the rain pouring over top of them.
Her hands explored over his wet clothes, while his did the same, as the kiss deepened. The two finally stopped as they needed air. David smiled at her, and Regina laughed it off. She then realized her position and immediately got up, reaching her hand down, he took it and she helped him off the wet cement. David closed the gap between them and leaned down and gave her a soft kiss, and smiled as he handed her, her car keys, and walked away.
Regina watched him go and then stared at her car keys. Did he know she was here? Did he plan for this? Shaking her head of the thoughts, Regina walked back to her car, and sat in it for a few minutes, replaying everything that had just happened and smiled. David leaned against the wall and smiled, Truth was, he did plan it, but he wasn't going to tell her that. Watching her leave, he licked his lips, still feeling hers, he went over to his truck that was parked behind the building and drove off to his house.
