Express Eventing Photos
I finally uploaded and cropped down the dressage to music photos from last weekend's Express Eventing International Cup www.eeicup.com. If you want to watch the event its being screened on Horse & Country TV at some point after 12th December. Its not yet been announced exactly when.
These are only the dressage to music photos, there are 40 of them. I have not yet downloaded the show jumping and x-country photos yet. I will say who's who where I can figure it out! If I have any wrong let me know. I've had to figure out who's who from the program and not all the riders had photos of the horses they were riding that day in there. You can tell I'm not a dressage rider or fan, my timing is off when it comes to taking photos of dressage!
This is the grand prix dressage mare that was used in the Carl Hester dressage demonstration before the actual dressage section started. She was a very cute little mare who got so excited being in the stadium she did the cutest piaffe(sp?) all the way around the stadium before settling down in the dressage arena.
Australian rider Clayton Fredericks riding Ben Along Time. His camp/family/friends/staff took up about 20 of the seats right behind us. VERY noisy/enthusiastic supporters! Lucinda was meant to compete too but did not.
American rider Buck Davidson riding My Boy Bobby. This horse was absolutly foot perfect in time with the music. Its little hooves touched the ground on the beat of the music EVERY STRIDE but the "music" judges slated him saying the movements were not in time with the music. It made me wonder if they had been watching a different horse or watching on a TV link rather than straight in front of them.

Chinese and the youngest rider at just 19 years old Alex Hua Tian riding FBW Chico. This horse would have won any "pretty horse" competition. He was a real sweetie.

I've put these under their own cut because these are the photos of Mary King riding her horse Call Again Cavalier. Because he was put to sleep later in the day after the jumping section there will never be any more photos of him so I have included most of the dressage photos I took of him. They both look so happy...
I'll get the jumping photos cropped and uploaded, cropped and posted prob monday if not tomorrow. Sorry if I haven't been reading people's lj's much, I took a LOT of photos at this event!
