procrastination

i am at open eye. i should be grading the pile of classwork + the embarrassingly small stack of essays from my seniors. i have a whopping 22/52 essays turned in. they were due on monday last week. pathetic.

what am i doing instead of grading? perusing the intarweb of course! i also went and got my haircut. yay my hair feels all soft now. i love getting it shampooed. of course, the hairdresser told me i have split ends not just on the end of my hair, but going up it...so i need to get something to treat that. boo. more money spent on my hair. but...when spring comes, off it will go, to be donated again.

finished reading the forest lover by susan vreeland last night. that was book #38 of 2007. so barring some unforeseen issue, like deciding to read war and peace, i don't think i'll have a problem finishing my 40 books in 2007. go me. i'm now on to new spring, the prequel to the wheel of time series. silly robert jordan writing the prequel before finishing the series, and then up and dying on us -_- i mean, my sympathies to his family and friends, and i feel bad for him and all...but as a devout fan of the books it's frustrating as hell to know that the last book has to be finished by his wife and cousin. oh well.

i suppose that that's enough procrastination. these papers sadly will not grade themselves.

books, work
