Rules

1. Any type of fic is allowed. Any genre, pairing, AU, crossover, etc. As long as it follows the prompt you choose. Just make sure that, when it comes time to post, you label your fics with the appropriate information. Title, rating, warnings, summary, etc. When I open posting, I'll post a sample form that you may use.

2. Stories must be at least 500 words long.

3. Stories must be finished. No WIPs. If you can write a multi-chapter story in the time allotted, great. Otherwise, one-shots only.

4. You do not need to use a beta, but you may. I suggest looking for a beta at this awesome comm; fandom_betas

5. You may claim more than one prompt. For now, I'm not putting a limit, but don't go overboard. Make sure that you will be capable of finishing any prompt that you claim. If, during the course of writing, you want to drop a prompt, let me know ASAP so I can make it available for someone else.

6. There are no requirements on posting to other comms. We ask that you wait to post your fic until you post it here, but after that, there is no amount of time you have to wait before you can post it anywhere else. You wrote it, it's yours.

7. You probably want to, if not join, at least put the community on your friends list. This way you will be able to notice when I make announcements. I will be posting the prompt submissions post shortly, of course, and later the claims post. Also, during the writing period, I will post reminders every once in a while. At the beginning of the posting period, I will make a post letting you know that the comm is open for posting, as well as giving a place for people who need to to ask for extensions.

8. Please be polite. No flaming, ship-wars, etc. Constructive criticism is one thing, fic-bashing is another thing entirely. It is very rude and it will get you banned.

9. You do not have to post your story directly in everyfandomfest. Feel free to link it from your own journal or fanfic comm or whatever. However, all entries must be open. You may not friends lock your fic or post it in a members only fanfic comm. All posts to everyfandomfest must also be open. You may not disable commenting on your post.

10. Good luck, have fun!
