Summary: It's simple-- Wilson and Cuddy look at the stars from the hospital roof. :)

It had been a long day at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital; one of those days that it would almost be impossible to even imagine it ever ending, and one where, after the long day, it would be nice to end it with something relaxing and pleasant.

Wilson put on his coat, turned out the lights in his office, closed and locked the door, and instead of walking out of the building, he went up to the roof to feel the nice cool air from a higher surface than usual.

In another part of the hospital, Cuddy followed the same routine Wilson had. She put on her coat, turned out the lights in her office, closed and locked the door, and walked out into the hallway of the hospital. She, too, decided to take a detour to the roof.

It was so dark outside that Wilson didn't see Cuddy come onto the roof. Not that he could have anyway, because he was facing the other direction. Cuddy didn't see Wilson at first either, because it was dark, but she was walking in the direction where he was standing.

"Oh, hi!" Cuddy said, once she noticed Wilson was standing there.
"Hey!" Wilson replied.
"You took a detour to the roof as well, I see?" Cuddy asked, trying to start conversation.
"Sure did,"
"It's nice out here," Cuddy smiled.
Wilson smiled back. "It sure is,"

Cuddy looked up, "Look at all the stars-- they're pretty,"
Wilson looked up, "They all shine so brightly,"
Out of the corner of his eye, Wilson saw Cuddy smile, "They shine as bright your smile,"
"Really? Thanks." Cuddy took a step to the side, closer to Wilson. The move was not unnoticed to Wilson; he sat down, and gently pulled her arm, as a way of trying to get her to sit down as well. She smiled, and sat down next to him. Wilson put his arm around Cuddy's shoulder, and Cuddy rested her head on his shoulder. After a few seconds, they leaned back and rested on their backs, still continuing to look at the bright, shining stars.

"How was your day?" Wilson asked.
"It was alright, I suppose-- minus the annoyances from House and the loads of paperwork, but other than that, I had no problem with it. And yours?"
"It was about the same. Lots of paperwork, lots of interruptions from House,"
Cuddy turned her head to the side to look at Wilson, and he turned his head to face her as well. Cuddy pulled her coat tighter around herself, sighed, and sat up straight. "It's so cold out here, but it's nice out here too," she said. Wilson knew she was referring to being out there on the roof looking at stars with him; she wanted to leave, but she wanted to stay. Wilson sat up, and wrapped his arm around her to help keep her warmer. Cuddy smiled, "Thank you," she said. Wilson nodded, and replied "Come on, let's go get some coffee and get warmed up,". "That sounds great," Cuddy replied, and they went back into the hospital, walked down the stairs, and walked to Wilson's car.
