I'm definitely getting better at this whole running thing. I've been trying to go as often as I can, for as long as the weather holds out. I don't know if I'll try and keep it up once it gets cold or not...I'm not much of a fan of the cold.

But its definitely getting easier. I can run a little bit longer without stopping to walk each time I go.  I'm a little less winded each time I go. I don't wake up to my legs feeling like they're being pulled apart at the seams any more.  That's a good thing, for sure.  I still don't have a whole lot of speed, which honestly is okay with me. I'm not athletically inclined in any way, shape, or form, so its not really necessary that I can run fast, jump high, and all that good nonsense.  I'm just working for some endurance. A nice lean muscled body would be nice, too.  :-P

I love the sounds  I hear when I run.  The wind running through the trees and whispering through the fields.  The birds singing.  The guns firing.  (Hunters and target practice...I don't like in the ghetto people!)  My feet pounding the pavement while my breath comes quickly, yet steady and even.  It brings me a certain kind of peace....
