As it's finally come out in the UK (which has had the first season for years, but nothing else) I bought the rather gorgeous Twin Peaks "definitive gold box edition" set, meaning that I'm finally able to see the 90s equivalent of Lost, something I've wanted to do for years. I mean, David Lynch doing a TV series? Who wouldn't want to watch that?

I'm not really sure about "Death and the Daleks", though. It might actually be a good story... but I couldn't really get into it because of the weird casting for some of the characters. As you said, young Ms Jones, what the heck? o_O And baby screams for Peter also were somewhat off and didn't fit after what you read about him in the book before.
But anyway, I love this range more and more with each passing season and book. :D It's like a... mad Douglas Adams-universe, just with a serious twist. Why does nobody make it into a TV show? Grah, I'd love to see that!
And... ah, Twin Peaks! &hearts I'm old enough to have actually SEEN it when it was on for the first time, though I was probably too young for it at the time to really grasp it. :D Bob scared me shitless... and the last episode in particular scarred me for life. *lol*
"The Eleventh Hour" was exactly what I needed after the last two years of New Who exhausted me so much. Bless the Moff Smith times. ;)

Yeah, I thought Peter was supposed to be older than a baby judging by Life During Wartime, but I thought it was best not to dwell on it and young!Ms. Jones and had a blast. I especially loved Benny's speech to the Daleks about how rubbish they could be.
It'd be a perfect TV series, it really would. Someone needs to make it happen, because the characters and the setting and the general universe of it is amazing and crying out for a TV version.
Bob is supremely scary. And I can't wait to see the final episode, I've heard that it's seriously fucked-up and I'm dying to find out why.
