Fringe: Season One and Battlestar Galactica: The Final Season
The X-Files for the 21st century (unfortunately the gorgeous lenticular cover doesn't really come out in the picture) and the final ten episodes of the most wonderfully miserable sci-fi series ever made. Your future begins here!
The Shield: Season One and Friday Night Lights: Season One
I'm going to be watching The Shield for more of Kurt "Sons of Anarchy" Sutter's brilliant writing, and I'm going to be watching Friday Night Lights because everyone keeps saying how brilliant it is.
Life on Mars: Series One and Series Two
The complete adventures of The Master and the Gene Genie, in delicious DVD quality.
Ashes to Ashes: Series One and Series Two
Gene Hunt is back, but this time it's the eighties! Apparently series two saw this become just as good as Life on Mars, so I couldn't ignore it. Plus, THE EIGHTIES.
Pulling: Series One and Series Two
I
talked about this series a while back. Dark, funny, brilliant. Recommended.
Gavin and Stacey: Series Three and Outnumbered: Series One & Two
The final outing for this bunch of beloved characters that feel just like your own family, and every episode thus far (barring the fabulous Christmas special) of this delightful, semi-improvised sitcom in one nifty slimline package.
Flight of the Conchords: Season Two and Hellboy II: The Golden Army
The last season of the brilliant Kiwi musical-comedy, and the second Hellboy movie, this time with much more dark fantasy weirdness.
Hellblazer: Scab and Final Crisis
The first collection of Peter Milligan's excellent current run on Vertigo's longest-running title and the baffling, brilliant recent DC mega-event from the pen of crazy Scottish comics scribe Grant Morrison.
The Perry Bible Fellowship Almanack
Does this really need any introduction? The greatest web comic ever - all the strips in one gorgeous hardcover. "WEE-A-BOO!" "Sgt Gruuuuuuuumbles!" "Unleash the Agronox!" "Unicorn Power!" etc etc.
Doctor Who: Timeless by Stephen Cole and Storm Front by Jim Butcher
A brand new shiny copy of this super-elusive Doctor Who book and the first in the series of The Dresden Files.
Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds and Dracula by Bram Stoker
Grim space opera and A CLASSIC HORROR NOVEL THAT I WILL PROBABLY NEVER READ.
Girls Aloud - Chemistry, Tangled Up and Out of Control
My current musical obsession. They make the best modern pop music ever, better even than Gaga. I've liked them for years now, but it's only been recently that "like" has turned to "love love love". I'm not sure I can get across how wonderful they are, especially Nicola and the delights of "Chim".
Little Boots - Hands, Ladyhawke - Ladyhawke, Our Lady Peace - Healthy in Paranoid Times and Paramore - All We Know Is Falling
CDs! I can't recommend Little Boots enough, she's absolutely brilliant.
