[Don't mind the subject. It's just our special interpretation of the song that's stuck in my head. And when I say, "our," that means me and my sister. But my brain is dead and I can't think of how to say that grammatically.]
Firstly, I am using this icon out of spite. Malicious spite and just a bit of irony. Okay, so a few hours ago I made that post that was all about my big Jaye/Eric love, and Jaye's issues and how I was glad Eric took the extra step and didn't get frustrated with her utter lack of expressing what she wanted.
And then I watched the next four episodes, and they made me eat my words. Everything, absolutely everything I was afraid would happen to Jaye, that I saw coming but thought was averted by Eric's action...it all happened.
I don't even know what's up with the animals, obviously the "Save him from her" was referring to Dr. Ron and the Olsen girl, and "Mend what was broken" was misenterpreted by Jaye. So they really wanted her to fix things with Eric, wanted her to take the leap and tell him about her feelings. But then they kept aiding her in her utter destruction of any chance with Eric. So do they have some ulterior motive? That will hopefully be revealed in Caged Bird and Eric doesn't leave for Jersey yeah okay everything's good? That title alone makes me think that something even worse is going to happen and Jaye is going to be stuck in her stagnant walled-up emotions forever. A caged-up Jaye-bird.
Waaah. I'm getting all mopey in a kind of end-of-S2-QaF kind of way. There can be no happiness, now that my ship is gone.
I'm taking this all way too close to home. Jaye, stop being so much like me! Stop messing things up exactly how I would!
heidiKAYLEE! YOU HUSSY! I WILL KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP.
All angst issues aside, I absolutely love how far the series came, and Cocktail Bunny? With the stereotypical horror setting -- stylistically alone, the episode was brilliant. And Aaron. I love Aaron so absolutely very much. His relationship with Mahandra came out of nowhere, but it's absolutely adorable and it makes me love both of the characters even more than I did before. "Are you saying I make love like a black man?" had us laughing our asses off. He is just the best, and he kind of looks like Donnie Darko. Not Jake Gyllenhaal, but Donnie Darko.
Now that this is turning into monosyllabic random comments, I think it's time to go to sleep. And mope about the fall of Jaye/Eric and the fact that I am currently ignoring, which is that after Caged Bird there is NOTHING, except for Barrel Bear which doesn't really count since it's from the early part of the series anyway.
Wonderfalls, the movie! Okay! Let's go!
Waaaaah. Torrent for the next episode? Please?
