As some of you know, the name "Spring Heeled Jack" recently came up in my D&D game. This got me thinking about Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book, in which the main antagonists are called "The Jacks of All Trades." Among the named characters in the book are:

I went to see Stardust on Monday night. As most of you know, I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan, so I was both excited and apprehensive about how the movie would compare to the book. Without giving anything away, I enjoyed the movie immensely, and it will probably go on my list of "movies I want to own," when I someday start buying movies.

I have, sitting in my bag right this very moment, Neil Gaiman's Fragile Things, courtesy of my library. I'm the very first patron to take it out, and it's mine (all mine!) until next Monday. Yay!

Today is my last teaching day for the CELTA. Understand that while I've always loved teaching, and while I still do, teaching for the CELTA has been quite stressful.
