there is no point. but somehow we find the strength because frankly i think the alternative would be rather dull. he has to want to help himself too. just remember he is not angry at you...you just happen to be in the way. when he comes around he will spend the rest of his life apologizing for his current behavior. you seem like the forgiving type.
