So for Children's Lit we're currently reading The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing: Traitor to the Nation Volume II and I find it interesting enough. Although most nights I find myself staring longingly at the second Kushiel book. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I'm such a picky reader.

Note to self -- as your grandmother's executor, I will make sure the fabric goes to Lauren....

Glad you're having a good time with the sewing, though. Your grandmother will be glad to burble with you. I didn't remember how many of our own clothes we made or redesigned when we were teenagers till we went through Grandma's patterns and the bags and bags and bags of old clothes in 2003. We really did do a lot of sewing -- well, somebody around there did, I wasn't one of the major contributors to that effort.

As to the test, hope it found nothing bad in there. Also hope it's designed as a disposable camera... {ewww}

And though this may be the wrong thing to ask, I never have actually known what Scientology espouses, just that it seems to attract a lot of flakes. What are they preaching, anyway? I confess to being curious.
