Books

So for Children's Lit we're currently reading The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing: Traitor to the Nation Volume II and I find it interesting enough. Although most nights I find myself staring longingly at the second Kushiel book. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I'm such a picky reader.

Mom bought me a sewing machine for my birthday.  I've used it at least once every day that I've been home for Spring Break. I'm totally having a blast with it. That's probably the Dye blood in me right? But I'm begging my family members to NOT allow grandma to leave me with her warehouse full of fabric! She's already discovered that I have a machine via facebook, and so I'm hoping it's not too late....

Taking a class on Scientology this semester is rather interesting. Everytime I tell someone they always say "So what IS Scientology anyway? I don't understand!" and I have to go into the whole speech of how it came to be and L. Ron Hubbard and stuff. Speaking of that class, I'm halfway done with my 5 page essay due Tuesday. Yay!

I had my camera pill test the other day to look for irregularities in my intestines. The test itself wasn't invasive, you just swallow a pill, but the prep was a little blegh. Especially since I had to do it twice in three days due to a misunderstanding.

I found the camera today too, not sure what I think about that O.o

sewing, scientology, books
