I dunno. From what popular media has taught me, you can still feel pain after becoming undead. It just cures the dead part.

This post is proof I should write the Vampires vs. Zombies story I've been mulling over for Halloween. The undead vs. the undead! Who will take who out first??

Ooooh, tough choice! I suppose this depends on the battleground and if undead vampire flesh is attractive to zombies (can non-living flesh sustain them?). Also, how powerful are the vampires (can they turn into mist and other animals? Fly?) and how numerous are the zombies?

So, yes. You should write it.
