What with “Heroes” airing last night, my 2006-2007 television season is all scheduled. Starting last year, I tried to get back into network television watching after years of almost pure cable, but was stymied by my retail job. Now, I’ve got myself a regular 9 to 5, which while not the most stable in the universe, at least allows me my nights.

You shouldn't be hopelessly lost if you start watching Jericho tonight. There's only been one episode, and it focused on the destruction of the cities and the beginnings of what will happen in the town.

Episode #1:Skeet Ulrich returns home to Jericho, Kansas after a long, mysterious absence, to ask his father (the mayor) to release money his grandfather left him in his will. We do not know what he plans to do with it. He runs into his old best friend, his friend's deaf sister, and a previous love interest on his way through town. His love interest has moved on, and is going to pick up her boyfriend at the airport. Skeet's father refuses to release the money, and Skeet heads out of town ( ... )
