What happens when I don't have cable?

Now, I’ve got myself a regular 9 to 5, which while not the most stable in the universe, at least allows me my nights. ( Read more... )

Heroes was awesome and "Super Hiro" was my absolute favorite character. His buddy cracked me up too, though. "Use your death grip, Spock! Use your death grip!" has GOT to be the best line in the episode.

I didn't get a chance to watch Jericho. If I start watching now, will I be hopelessly lost?

Yeah, I liked Hiro's buddy, though he's been left behind in Japan. Maybe he'll get a phone call.

You shouldn't be hopelessly lost if you start watching Jericho tonight. There's only been one episode, and it focused on the destruction of the cities and the beginnings of what will happen in the town.

*forgot to watch it last night due to a Stargate marathon*

Okay, will I be hopelessly lost if I watch it NEXT week?

No problem. There won't be specific names, as I can never remember them, but hopefully character descriptions will be enough.

Episode #1:Skeet Ulrich returns home to Jericho, Kansas after a long, mysterious absence, to ask his father (the mayor) to release money his grandfather left him in his will. We do not know what he plans to do with it. He runs into his old best friend, his friend's deaf sister, and a previous love interest on his way through town. His love interest has moved on, and is going to pick up her boyfriend at the airport. Skeet's father refuses to release the money, and Skeet heads out of town ( ... )

Is it sad that I'm absolutely horrified at the thought of all the dead birds, but the people don't really bother me?

Episode #2Rain is coming, but it's tainted by radiation. There are two fallout shelters in town, one under the town hall and one under the hospital. The air filter in the hospital one does not work however, and Skeet and the bus chaperone from episode #1 try to fix it ( ... )

I'm still distraught over the dead birds, though. Poor babies.
