Still thinking about an episode of CSI: NY (dreadful, dreadful, dreadful; maybe even worse than CSI: Miami, although it's hard to say) where a high school date rapist turned out to be a 30 year old sociopath stranger rapist. Seriously, the miniseries has been surprisingly good (Torchwood being uneven at best) and ( cut for spoilers and more cursing probably. )

So what are the chances that the lesson of Drop Dead Diva is that it's okay to be fat rather than vain models deserve to spend the afterlife in a fat body? I'm thinking this one might be a fatphobic, misogynist two-fer.  Shouldn't Lifetime make an effort to get more shows with women creative teams, considering their core audience is women?  ( Read more... )
