http://www.play-symphony.com/ Jane, Rory, Richard and I went on a double date to the Hummingbird Centre to see PLAY! the other night.
My personal favourite was Castlevania;
(Too badass.)
Which isn't on there plus there were MORE performance(S) including guest(S) composer Nobuo Uematsu of Final Fantasy fame and composer of the official opening fanfare for the concert series; Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, composer of the gaming sensation Shenmue; and Jeremy Soule.
The highlight of the night was Takenobu Mitsuyoshi performing "Let's Go away" (Daytona USA).
Greatest thing ever! He was so eccentric and quirky, nothing like you'd expect.
Highlight of the night #2
During the 20 minutes of intermission, EVERYONE busted out their Nintendo DS's!
Either PICTOCHAT rooms were full, or everyone was trying to "download play" with whomever had multiplayer games within the theatre.
Me and Jane brought our DS LITES (she recently bought the Coral Pink, soo cute!), her boyfriend Rory connected to Mario Kart and I connected to this Japanese thing with a bomb + skull that led to nothing but 'communication error' in Japanese afterwards.
All in all.
WI FI = WIN!!!
[NINTENDO] DS IS LOVE.
Splendid night♥
