I was thinking about Permaculture in a more immediate sense, as a personal way of life. For the first time in my adult life, I was actually proud to be an American. His speech made me cry. I just hope this feeling lasts, for all of us.

Today I went to Carmen's Country Kitchen with Michael, a little breakfast place at 11th and Wharton, right across from a police station full of cops that she doesn't allow to eat at her place (nice). Recently I re-read my entire lj, in order to obsessively assign tags to the entries, and I can't get over the transformation that took place.
