Work has been utter hell on top of total mayhem these days. I'm so glad the weekend is coming. I've spent the past week dealing with a large number of incredibly pissed off students. There were nearly riots in the halls the second night of class. Several fights nearly broke out in the line for the registrar's office. Students who were placed on

Wasabi is not a good thing. And, apparently, it's bad sushi manners to put wasabi on any piece of sushi the chef didn't put it on themselves.

they didn't put any wasabi directly onto the sushi..the wasabi was all on the side, next to little strips of pickled ginger. I accidentally managed to get a big old glob of it onto some of the sushi and ate it before I noticed. damned stuff lit me up like a christmas tree.

the one thing I did love there was the pot of green tea they gave me. I drank the entire pot in the course of the meal. the wasabi might've had something to do with that, though. :)

AW! Sushi is so good though! I'm having it Tues night next week with a vendor visiting, and on Wed night for Paul's extended B-day dinner celebration! mmmm...
I think the best part is when you get too big of a piece of wasabi & it burns the inside of your sinuses! It's kind of nice! :P
