I have managed to come down with a cold in the middle of friggin august. August! How the fuck do you get a cold in august?? Colds are for winter.
I had to leave work early yesterday and called in sick today. I have taken aleve cold and sinus. which basically means that right now I can't walk straight and I'm having to retype every other word because cold pills, without fail, make me loopy and wobbly. This, people, is why I do not drink. If cold pills that are anti-drowsy manage to turn me into a fumbling, giggling, babbling idiot, can you imagine what alcohol would do?
I tried to do beadwork but I kept stabbing myself with the needle. Basically I'm stuck doing nothing until the pills wear off in about six hours.
whee. Maybe I should have gone to work. Right now I'm about on the same level as most of the students there. Perhaps if I were at work I'd be able to make them understand me because using logic doesn't work on them. Cold pill induced buzz would be better than logic.
