Time has run away from me again. And even if I do get on the computer, I don't always remember to update on day to day stuff ( Read more... )

WOW. I wasn't expecting you to say he is six months old... NO WAY! xD I remember being a bit teary and pouty about starting food. I wasn't ready.

My computer days are numbered with this machine... *sigh*

*giggles* Teenager Maddy! Too much. Go sit on her--it won't stop her, but it will make you feel better for a while. ;)

Oh, WOW. And I thought our school system moved like lightning. O.O

I know, right??? Six months? I have no idea where the time went. :(

I don't know how much longer Tosh has, since the same slowdowns and freezes happen even with the reformat and limiting progs. So it's more like;y a bad sector and just not having enough RAM. No way to fix that without getting a new laptop, but I plan to hold off on that. it's a want, not a need, and i LOATHE windows 8. I'd rather wait if possible to see what 9 looks like.

The Common Core curriculum is kind of ridiculous. Maddy can handle it, but a lot of kids can't. Seriously, some of the stuff they're expecting kindergarteners to do is what we used to do in first or second grade. :)

Yeah, I am STILL going through hell because of Windows 8. Wish we could sue them. x( Hopefully Santa will bring a new computer. I won't be able to wait for the next Windows. :/

Yeah, that is quite ridiculous. Like I said, around here it's a tough curriculum, and if you don't stay heavily involved with your child's every day schooling, he or she can easily fall through those ugly cracks. It's a bit of hell to deal with the parents that don't get this, too. I was on SO many committees and served in many areas, and I swear some of the people absolutely flabbergasted me. No wonder the children aren't learning and are slipping through the system. There HAS to be home involvement. It's so sad. :/
