Not sure if it's early
Yesterday once or twice I thought I felt a few twinges low in by belly. Jason thinks it's too early to be feeling the kaiju move, and that it's probably just gas. I know it's earlier if you've been pregnant before, and I don't remember when I felt it while pregnant with Maddy or Zach. So, not sure if it's too early or if it's the kaiju getting comfy.
I did hear from the specialist regarding the fancy schmancy blood test. It did not detect trisomy 13, 18 or 21, and genetically the kaiju is indeed XY. She put it as "It's always nice when the test and sonogram match." Heh. So far, so good. Nothing weird she could see on the sono and the trisomies that they worry about weren't detected. Sure, it's not 100%, but this means the risk is way down. And on a more practical level, I don't have to drive back and forth 50 minutes each way for checkups. :D
