Happy Birthday!
Today we celebrated Madison's and Indiana's birthdays. Indy turns six today, and Madison's birthdate is actually Monday, and she turns five. Holy cow, how did that happen???
In honor of the big day, here's a picspam. No cut for you. :P
We got a bounce house and a magician for Maddy's party. So of course she and Zach have to try it out before the kids arrive. We were so grateful that it was nice out, if a bit windy. :)
Here's the birthday boy! We moved his tether so that if any of the little kids were scared of dogs, it wouldn't interfere with play. Only one of Maddy's friends is really terrified of dogs, but she did great at the party and was able to walk past him to play in the sandbox at one point. :)
The kids were pretty good about getting in and out of the bounce house, and I didn't even need to use a timer. At one point, they were having a great time sliding out and then climbing back in. :)
We actually invited a bunch more kids. Some never got back to us, and a handful had to last minute cancel. So we had a dozen extra kids, and it turned out to be just right. Which means we had tons of juice, pizza and cupcakes left over. Guess what we had for dinner? :)
And of course, I had to relax in the house with the kids before running out to answer a consult at the hospital. :D
Maddy and Jason started putting together one of her presents, a Hello Kitty treehouse set. *sniffle* Her first Lego set. Sort of. It's Mega Bloks, which are a bit stickier to put together. But she's so enthusiastic! She's so our child, haha.
