long time no see!
well, i hung out with izzy. he called his dad from my cell, and got into a bit of an arguing match. the upshot of it was, he got his weights and exercise gloves from modell, then dropped off the car. so i hung out at his apt and we just chatted and i had a lunch of matzo, pastrami and salami. i liked the salami better than the pastrami, to be honest. :)
well, when israel got the car again, we were off to roosevelt field to mallhop. more conversing and such. then we strolled all around the second floor of the place. neither of us are mall ppl, and it was interesting to see someone else understand the concept of island girl mallrats making me itch. not literally, but that skin-crawling icky kind of feeling from being around one too many airheads. i'd say it's close to the "ew! please tell me it's not catching!" kind of attitudes. i'm terrible that way, i admit it!
he bumped into ppl he knew at wizards, and matt was there. not of the minion persuasion, but the slacker/band persuasion. so i got his e-mail so i can pass it on to jay and the guys, since they haven't seen him in a long time.
and actually, it was when izzy was driving me back home that i figured it out. i last saw him for like five minutes at last year's otakon, at Registration, when i was running out to find someone regarding a prereg problem. he said hi, we talked for a minute, then he came back with cammi so we could say hi.
and i found out that cammi and batya both have lj's. must go add them now...
Edit: oh, the fandom flaming reminded me... israel wound up sitting a few chairs away from a squueing fangirl at Lunacon that turned out to be Cassie Claire herself. i feel like playing six degrees of separation now. :)
