- I forgot to mention last night when online, but I got my Remix assignment. And there are actually matches in BOTH my primary fandoms, one each, tho one is a story and the other is a series of unconnected drabbles. The stories are gen and het, so \o/ for me. I need to pick one and start brainstorming, since there's all of a month to write and post this thing.
- I've been poking at my pinch hit for dgficexchange. And I mean poking. Maybe a scene comes to mind, and at other times, I'm reworking the same sentence a few times over. But because it's a pinch hit and not something I'm writing for myself, I can't just leave it for a few days and let the "Ah ha!" moment plot things out for me.
- That being said, mynuet has been kicking my ass pretty hard with the beta. Everything I've written is thus 1000% better for it.
- Jay is sending copies of various documents to the licensing board today. Here's hoping they accept it and give me my damn license to practice already. I can only apply for a new DEA number once I get my new license.
- I have 2 months left before the move. I've been having senioritis for the past month already. Prolly not good overall, but I really don't care anymore.
- I've been writing so many Britishisms in fic that some has crept into my actual speech. Jay will prolly be adopting some of it somewhere down the road, like he's already picked up on some of the fannish terms I use a lot. :)
- It's only 9 am. Can I go home now?
