Our puppy is so cute. With the recent heat wave, we've taken him into our room, which has AC and is easier to cool than the entire rest of the house. So for the past two nights, when it wasn't as nasty in the living room, we tried to tell Indy to go to bed. The command usually refers to his crate.
Instead, he went to our bedroom door and patiently waited for us to go in it. And once we open the door, he curled up at the foot of our bed. Awwww. If our bedroom was larger, we'd have a crate in there, too. But alas, our house is teeny and our room won't fit one until we do some major renovation.
And I just got home from my OB checkup a little while ago. Since last month, I've gained 4 pounds and my bp is 120/70, which isn't too far off from my norm. The nurse didn't wig out by the urine sample, so I'm assuming there's no excess glucose or proteins spilling over where they shouldn't. Maddy is constantly moving around, which is good. Even tho I told the doc that she likes my left side, it still took him a while to find her heartbeat, which is still strong. In fact, the chicklet is moving around right now as I type about her. :) I have the form for the glucose tolerance test which should be done at the end of the month and I have my 28 week appointment in July.
So we're all doing well. Yay!
