I've been ignoring LJ for the past few days, getting adjusted to the kids being out of school, trying not to get too bogged down in work, but hopefully I'm back to my old schedule. Well, close to it anyway

I bought whole ones and then ground them myself, but in all honesty, it was a very coarse grind because it was taking forever. Nobody noticed or had a problem with it, though. It spent the time in the blender at a high enough speed, so I think it ground it more.
Plus, we only used half of it, so there's more left over for other things. It's a good mayo/spread. I can see us making it again.
I have a dentist appointment on Thursday because I've finally managed to reach a pain point that exceeds my anxiety. I haven't been to the dentist in a while but I haven't reached the pain over anxiety part yet.
My whole face hurts from the damn tooth, and the new dentist I'd found here is actually amazingly gentle. I'd been shocked at how gentle the last time I went in, but then our insurance changed and I felt like it was a hassle to find out if he still took it and didn't want to go through the whole process again. Which was ridiculous, looking back on it.
But the anxiety is still there. I had a mold get stuck in my mouth in my 20s when I was getting fitted for a bite guard. I still have nightmares about it occasionally.

everything about the part-time editing sounds positive.
That torta sounds amazing. Do you have to buy ground chia seeds or can you grind them yourself?
