BLAKE
Song 1: I loved this the first time he did it, and I loved it this time. Amazing energy. Yes, the singing was slightly flat, but I don't think it matters for him here. The energy and arrangement compensate.
Song 2: Nice all around. Maroon 5 songs are good for his voice.
Song 3: The winning song was kind of insipid, I thought. And really doesn't suit Blake at all. And some of his notes were just bad.
JORDIN
Song 1: Good, but I liked Blake more. She seemed to struggle a bit in the beginning. When she got into the flow, it was great, but it took awhile for that to happen.
Song 2: I'm not sure why Jordin picked this song, actually. I didn't even remember this performance of hers from before. The big notes were all there, of course. And I think it was the stronger of the second performances.
Song 3: Better than Blake's. By far. But I still think the song is insipid.
My money is on Jordin to win. Blake's the better performer, but she was better all around tonight.
And Chris performed! I still love him. *sigh*
