So this was the episode of the "big reveal" and the new psychic character... and I loved it!
We almost got a hug!! We were so close, damnit!
Ok so the "big reveal" wasn't really as big as I'd hoped it would be, guess they're saving that for the finale. Nevertheless, it was big enough to satisfy me.
I have to say I suspected they would probably go this route ever since I saw last season's finale.
Still, I love that they chose to explore the 'Is Sam evil/Can he saved by the hotgay bro' love' plot line. It will make for a lot of great angst down the line.
And looks like Dean will have to protect his Sammy from all their fellow hunters in future. Maybe we'll get more face-grabbing/cheek-holding from Dean whenever Sam survives an attack.
Moving on to Eva, the new psychic. Ok so she was a bit over the top, her acting was a bit patchy in some parts, but you know what? I like her. I like her brand of quirkyness. Reminds me a bit of Willow.
And speaking of new characters... How much do I love Kripke for listening to the fans and scrapping the Dean/Jo
romance idea. *twirls*
Other random things I loved:
-The banter at the end...(Gordon reaching for the soap for the next few years)
- No Jo
- Dean being saved by Sam for once
- the cool montage using a Johnny Cash song.
- the cool voice over for the next episode's preview.
- No Jo
- Good use of Gordon
- No Jo
