Writer's Block: Dream Job
For me, when I was around the age of 4, I wanted to be a cook. To me, cooking was like magic back then, after watching my mum cook for some time during the day and sit at the table to eat some tasty dishes she made from normal everyday ingediants. Well that just fantasized me, and I always wanted to learn how to cook like my mum, and make those ingrediants into something so amazingly beautiful. Yes, when I was little, all my mum's dishes looked beautiful, a work of art, after hours of careful preperations, and only using the right fresh ingrediants, to come up with an outcome so rich with flavour and zest, but also look good.
I still do love to cook, but I don't want to make that my career, when I was around the age of 8 or 10, I switched from wanting to be a cook, to being either a country or pop singer, or a forensics scientists. My influence for wanting to become the first career came from watching all my favorite aritists sing songs that had some wonderful lyrics, and whatever they sang, the audience took it and spread the lyrics, making the song universaly popular, and that way, and in a way, it united the world, if the aritist was that huge.. or maybe even united the country. That was the whole idea that stuck with me to maybe choose that as a career.. and I loved poems back then, and songs are basically the artist's poems they are singing to the people instead. Also me wanting to become a forensics scientists, well from where else would I get that? I got that from watching too much CSI back then... still watch the shows, they are awesome! The idea of well cracking a case and working hard at it to get to the end and find out the who, what, where, when, etc.. well that was awesome, and the technology used was super cool.
Nowadays, I watch that show, and also Numb3rs, Law and Order, and a bunch of other crime/law related tv series. But my new career passion is Law and Criminal Justice, I really want to become a barrister (lawyer) in London, and hopefully work hard to take part in their Royal Court. That idea is just.. so amazing for me, cause I love to debate, and I am currently practicing the concepts of proper debating. I love to help people, and I love to fight for what is right. I have strong opinions about certain things, but yet I am still very unbiased, but still the concept of helping to put justice in certain areas, like overcoming corruption, murders, money situations. It is all about helping my community, and I want to be the best lawyer out there, and ok ok.. they also pay very very well. hehe.. yeah
