tee hee hee. i do so love being able to do this again, i might just witter on for the rest of the afternoon...

which would be a bad thing, as there is much to do in the land of the House, and its second floor. the fountains in the courtyard are on, and i'd forgotten how beautiful the whole thing is. apart, obviously, from when the fountains come on for the first time after the ice rink, and the tank has been allowed to get icky, and there are 55 jets of 8' high brown water. mmm, yummy. i don't get paid enough, sometimes it's really hard work, and occasionally it's just plain frustrating, but i love working here. Ok, stop puking now, mummy's going to stop gurgling about work.

so, life continues apace. had a soupcon of interest in the housing thing, which is encouraging; our receptionist, a sweet young saffa, was wondering about this 'gothhousing' thing, and eventually said 'yes, but what if you get a....' 'big scary, hairy goth?' 'yeah! it'd be weird...' bless. she doesn't get it. i'm just looking forward to more than 18" head clearance in bed, a proper wardrobe and a table in my room so that when the urge takes me to paint, or get the sewing machine out and waste some time creating something unwearable outside of vivienne westwood's nightmares, i don't have to first clear off the living room table. which will shortly be covered in nappies and breast pumps and the like. oooh, baby shower soon. problem is, there is the possibility of an enticing alternative, so dilemma. it might be ok to not go, as i'm living with her and with her all the time when i'm at home and she's not sleeping. does that work? i shall have to think about this.

erm...looking at short courses for the purpose of cv enhancement; the most interesting one is on arts policy, but it's terribly expensive. the alternative to another course of cv-building academic stuff would be a wood-carving or metalworking course, which also sounds rather fab. so much to do!
