gosh. haven't done this for a while. lots of changes in the year since i last posted. forgive me if i mumble.
i'm feeling terribly clever, because my server doesn't like the homepage, but as i was lurking anyway, feeling a little caspar-like, i thought i'd try to log in a sneaky way, and it worked!
yay!
and now there are so many new people i kind of have met/know!
so, quick resume of the past year:
started in a typically odd way, losing the friendship of one the people dearest to me. big suck, espeically as it was my fault and i can't apologise. or at least, not till he's speaking to me again.
then met and fell for a young man, who was in very much the same position as myself; over 9 months we kind of propped each other up, put each other back on our feet, and then he left.
i got a better job (yay!)
my housemate is about to drop twins, so am about to become a step-aunty-type creature, which also means i'm going to have to leave my eerie eyrie in the beautiful hampstead and start living within my means (yuk)
all in, it could have been a lot worse. the mission for this year is to correct fuck-ups from last year, work with the good stuff, and build. and become baby-guru. am so excited, not least because we're close enough for this to be amazing, but i'm not actually going to be having to raise them for the next 18 years, so can hand them back at the end of the day.
and hopefully, with enough sweet-talk, i can get the whole kit and caboodle de-barred from my work computer, and start doing this properly again. for i have missed you all, my little avatar chums, terribly.
