Melt down at dance class today!

I had to pick Carolina up early from dance today because we were getting family pictures at 5:30. When I call her over she says I am getting a sucker and starts to get one on her own. I told her "No you don't get it your self wait for your teacher" She starts to cry. One teacher walks over and says "yes she gets a sucker" and gives her one. The

It sounds like a battle I would have with 2 out of 4 of my children. Strong will is very fun, isn't it? I've had some bad battles, but I believe my 8 year old son knows right from wrong because of it. He always comes around, knowing that I still love him, but I cannot accept his fits as okay. At 8, he still occassionally has fits, but they are no where near what they used to be. Hang in there momma!

Yikes, Nicholas did something like this...we were walking out of school because I had to pull him out early and he took off running and screaming down the school halls, I had to chase after him and grab him to take him out to the car while he was kicking and screaming bloody murder, it took us a few minutes to get our composure back. I swear it's like the terrible 2's with a bigger stronger kid with more vocal skills!
