Melt down at dance class today!

I had to pick Carolina up early from dance today because we were getting family pictures at 5:30. When I call her over she says I am getting a sucker and starts to get one on her own. I told her "No you don't get it your self wait for your teacher" She starts to cry. One teacher walks over and says "yes she gets a sucker" and gives her one. The other teacher comes over and says "she has to show me the move we worked on before she can have a sucker" At this point my darling daughter is having a total fit...jumping, kicking, screaming, and crying. We both tell her to do the move and she can have the sucker. After more screaming and saying NO, No, No, and I CAN'T she finally does. I was really upset with her behavior so when we got out the door I took the sucker away until I could talk to her about her about what she did wrong. When I did this she freaked out and went into a full blown melt down. I put her in the car and she started to kick the seat and bang her head as she screamed like a maniac! At this point I was way past upset I was ticked off. I warned her twice that if she did not stop I was going to throw that sucker out the window, and finally I had had it and I rolled down the window a out it went! Needless to say this did not make her stop, but I felt better!
I hope this is not a 4 year old thing...I want her to live to see 5!!!
