My mom sent me this learn-to-speak-French CD set. I have been listening to the first disc, and it is slightly bizarre. Some of the "useful phrases" I have learned:
- Long live the French bread!
- I would like to withdraw one hundred dollars.
- The cognac is very good.
- In Bordeaux it is hot. It doesn't provide any written stuff so I don't know how to spell or read most of what they are saying, but I guess it's good to be able to speak a bit.
